The world
DarkSeas is a 2D hack-and-slash dark fantasy game with Lovecraftian horror elements, roguelike and extraction mechanics, local co-op, and Windows/Android crossplay support.
The campaign
During the campaign, the player controls a customizable character, conquering procedurally generated islands while gathering new resources and weapons.
Gameplay
The core of the gameplay is the balance between risk and reward: to keep the acquired gear, the player must weigh how far to continue the expedition and when it is best to retreat.
